Client Configurator & Model Auto-Generation
The Client Configurator (/configurator) is an interactive tool built directly into Eluvix that automatically discovers all models running on your local machine and upstream providers, and generates tailored configuration files and snippets for developer tools and AI coding assistants.
Supported AI Clients & Tools
| Client / Tool | Configuration Target | Features Supported |
| :--- | :--- | :--- |
| OpenCode | ~/.config/opencode/opencode.json | Model presets, context limits, one-click local auto-apply |
| Continue.dev | ~/.continue/config.json | Tab autocomplete & chat models array, one-click auto-apply |
| Cursor & Windsurf | OpenAI Compatible Settings | Dedicated Base URL, API key, and model copy buttons |
| Aider | ~/.aider.conf.yml or CLI flags | Quick run shell one-liner and YAML config snippet |
| Cline / Claude Dev | Custom OpenAI Compatible Provider | JSON schema for direct import into Cline settings |
| Python / LiteLLM / LangChain | openai Python SDK | Streaming and completion code examples |
| Shell & .env | Environment variables | OPENAI_BASE_URL, OPENAI_API_KEY, NODE_EXTRA_CA_CERTS |
Connection Protocols
Eluvix supports two network interfaces for tool integrations:
1. HTTPS (https://127.0.0.1:3000/api/v1) — Recommended
- Encrypted local TLS using
mkcert. - Ideal for browser-based extensions, secure web clients, and tools where TLS is mandatory.
- For Node.js-based tools (like OpenCode or VS Code extensions), export the trusted local root CA:
export NODE_EXTRA_CA_CERTS="$HOME/.local/share/mkcert/rootCA.pem"
2. HTTP (http://127.0.0.1:3080/api/v1) — Loopback
- Plain loopback HTTP listener that directly serves all
/api/endpoints without SSL/TLS overhead or certificate trust requirements. - Ideal for CLI tools, Python scripts, or terminal agents that do not load local root CA certificates.
- Browser HTML navigation to port 3080 is automatically upgraded to HTTPS, while
/api/*endpoints are processed directly over HTTP.
Dynamic Model Discovery & Sync
The Configurator features an active upstream discovery scanner:
- Click Scan Upstreams in the Configurator header.
- Eluvix queries all configured backends:
- Lemonade Router (
:13305) - Local Ollama (
:11434) - Local vLLM / vLLM-sr (
:8000,:8001) - Google Antigravity Agent (
agyCLI) - Claude Code Agent (
:8082) - Billama Cloud
- Lemonade Router (
- Detected models automatically populate the selection matrix with appropriate context window lengths and max completion output token limits.
One-Click Local Configuration Application
For locally installed tools like OpenCode and Continue.dev, the Configurator can apply the configuration directly to your system:
- Select your desired models in the Model Selection table.
- Select your preferred protocol (HTTPS or HTTP).
- Open the OpenCode or Continue.dev tab.
- Click Apply to Local Config.
- Eluvix safely creates an automatic timestamped backup (e.g.
opencode.json.bak-<timestamp>), merges theEluvixprovider and models into your configuration file, and validates the output.
You can verify the configuration immediately in your terminal:
