Cloud Providers & Agent Runtimes
Eluvix provides first-class support for both direct commercial cloud LLM providers and local autonomous agent CLI runtimes. Runtimes can be placed onto the canvas, wired into Switchyard routing tiers, and governed by Privacy and Semantic Guards.
Direct Cloud Providers
Direct cloud provider nodes connect to commercial hosted APIs without external CLI dependencies:
1. Billama Cloud (billamaNode)
A cloud-hosted serverless model inference provider:
- Default Endpoint:
https://api.billama.dev - Authentication: Custom Bearer API key
- Capabilities: Multimodal vision, custom cost rates (
costPer1kTokens), and priority tier weighting.
2. OpenAI Direct (openaiNode)
Direct integration with the OpenAI API:
- Default Endpoint:
https://api.openai.com/v1 - Authentication:
sk-...API key with optionalorganizationidentifier. - Direct Execution: Bypasses local CLI tooling (Codex) when simple, stateless HTTP completions are preferred.
3. Anthropic Claude Direct (claudeNode)
Direct integration with the Anthropic Messages API:
- Default Endpoint:
https://api.anthropic.com/v1 - Authentication:
sk-ant-...API key. - Capabilities: Direct access to Claude 3.7 Sonnet, Claude 3.5 Haiku, and multimodal vision models.
Autonomous Agent CLI Runtimes
Eluvix seamlessly bridges autonomous coding agents and terminal toolchains into the routing mesh:
1. Google Antigravity Agent (antigravityNode)
Integrates the Google Gemini-powered Antigravity agent CLI (agy):
- Execution Mode:
- CLI via
agy(Recommended): Spawns the localagy --printbinary non-interactively without opening external network ports. - Agent Router Daemon: Routes through
eluvix-agent-routeron port8002. - HTTP Bridge: Routes to external agent server instances.
- CLI via
- Models:
gemini-3.8-flash,gemini-3.8-pro, or custom models. - Extended Thinking: Configurable reasoning token budget (512–8,192 tokens).
- Toolchain Controls: Toggles for write tools, subagents, and network access.
- Compilation Output: Serializes to
antigravity.yaml.
2. OpenAI Codex CLI (codexNode)
Integrates the OpenAI Codex terminal utility:
- Models:
o3-mini,o1,o1-mini, or custom models. - Reasoning Effort: Configurable reasoning depth (
low,medium,high). - Approval Modes:
confirm-risky,auto-approve, orread-only. - Built-in Capabilities: Code Interpreter, Bash execution, and File Editor.
- Compilation Output: Serializes to
codex.json.
3. Anthropic Claude Code CLI (claudeCodeNode)
Integrates the Claude Code command-line toolchain:
- Models:
claude-3-7-sonnetwith thinking budget up to 64,000 tokens. - Permission Modes:
accept-non-destructive,confirm-all, orunrestricted. - Tool Approvals: Granular toggles for Bash command execution, File editing, Grep search, and Subagent delegation.
- Compilation Output: Serializes to
claudecode.json.
Compiler Output Comparison
When compiling the visual canvas, cloud providers and agent runtimes emit specialized configuration artifacts:
| Provider / Runtime | Canvas Node | Generated Artifact | Primary Use Case |
| :--- | :--- | :--- | :--- |
| Billama Cloud | billamaNode | bifrost.yaml (providers.billama) | Cloud serverless fallback |
| OpenAI Direct | openaiNode | bifrost.yaml (providers.openai) | Direct stateless completions |
| Anthropic Direct | claudeNode | bifrost.yaml (providers.claude) | Direct stateless completions |
| Google Antigravity | antigravityNode | antigravity.yaml | Multi-agent autonomous coding |
| OpenAI Codex | codexNode | codex.json | Local terminal coding agent |
| Claude Code | claudeCodeNode | claudecode.json | Refactoring & repo-wide search |
